Milan defender Cristian Zapata risks at least a month out after suffering a thigh injury.
Zapata pulled up just 14 minutes into Milan’s 2-0 win at Genoa on Monday, and the Rossoneri have since confirmed the Colombian ‘injured the biceps femoris muscle in his right thigh’.
Furthermore he will undergo more tests in two weeks’ time, suggesting the 32-year-old will miss at least the Diavolo’s upcoming double-header against Napoli and Serie A trip to Roma.
