Nicolò Zaniolo is at the centre of a complex transfer tale, as Juventus try to stall his Tottenham move, while Inter could waive the sell-on fee to get Edin Dzeko from Roma.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Roma consultant (and former Tottenham Hotspur director) Franco Baldini will meet with Spurs chiefs today in London to discuss Zaniolo.
The idea is to exchange the young Italy international for cash plus defender Toby Alderweireld or midfielder Moussa Sissoko, reaching the €50m asking price.

Of that €50m, approximately €7.5m would go to Inter, who included a 15 per cent selling-on fee as part of his move last year.
La Gazzetta dello Sport note that Inter could waive that fee in order to close the gap with Roma over Dzeko, as their offer is €12m and the asking price remains €20m.
However, there is another issue and that is represented by Juventus, who the Corriere dello Sport claim have asked agent Claudio Vigorelli to stall Zaniolo’s transfer to Tottenham.
The Italian would prefer to remain in Italy with Juve, but they couldn’t make a bid until late summer or more likely in 2020.
