Wolfsburg don’t want Shaqiri

Wolfsburg are reportedly not keen on Xherdan Shaqiri, so Inter will have to pay the €20m asking price for Ivan Perisic.

It had previously been suggested that the Nerazzurri could include the Swiss international as part of any deal, as a way of lowering the German side’s demands.

However, Calciomercato reports that Die Wolfe were not convinced by the idea, with the Beneamata valuing Shaqiri at €15m.

The website believes that although a second offer of a loan with a €17m mandatory redemption clause was also rejected, the fact Wolfsburg are willing to negotiate means there is the distinct possibility of the Croatian international ending up at San Siro.
