Corriere dello Sport have today reported that the Belgium international has told the Russian side that he won’t renew his deal, meaning a Serie A switch looks likely.
“I don’t have any intention of renewing my contract with Zenit because I want to have an experience in Italy,” the paper reports that Witsel told his representatives.

Corriere della Sera believe that Juve could make contact with the Russian champions today in Montecarlo, where the Champions League draw is taking place.
Zenit are believed to be demanding €25-30m for the central midfielder, whose current deal runs out in 2017.
