The Friulani made their debut under new Coach Igor Tudor last week in a 3-3 thriller at Benevento, ending a run of 11 consecutive defeats.
“Perhaps we deserved to win at Benevento, but the important thing is we’ve rediscovered the right spirit,” the Swiss international told Mediaset Premium and Inter TV.
“It has been a negative time for everyone over the last few months, but we’ve come together and found our spirit, so now we’ll try to bring home more points.
“The last time we met Inter at San Siro was a wonderful game and we hope to repeat it. I am convinced we’ll get a result today.
“It’s going to be hard-fought, because both sides need points. Perisic is a top level player, but in order to stop him, I’ll need help from my teammates to double up the marking. It can be the key to the whole match.”
