With three matchdays left to go in Serie B Women, three teams are within a point of each other at the top of the table, fighting for a spot in the topflight – Napoli, Lazio and Lady Granata Cittadella.

Three teams are fighting hard to avoid the drop in the Relegation Round of Serie A Women – Pomigliano, who have 18 points, and Parma and Sampdoria, who both have 15. With only three games left to play, the tension is rising as all three teams desperately work to secure any points possible.
In Serie B Women, Napoli top the table with 67 points, rising above previous league leaders Lazio following their 2-1 win on the weekend. The Biancocelesti sit just a point behind, the same as third place Cittadella.
All three teams are now in with a serious chance of securing automatic promotion to Serie A and one will have to go through the play-off, leaving the third-place team with nothing but regret and frustration.
One key clash that could prove decisive in the promotion fight is the match between Napoli and Cittadella on May 21, a game that’ll undoubtedly be fiery and full of sparks.
