Inter’s Argentine striker hasn’t scored in a competitive game since May 10 when he netted a brace against Lazio” data-scaytid=”6″>Lazio, but his Coach has asked him to not get too preoccupied about it.

“When a player finds himself two, three times in front of the ‘keeper it means that there is a good play,” Mazzarri told reporters today.

“And it also means that the player knows when and how to move, he’s got pace and he has developed a good understanding with his teammates.

“Maybe he is not alert enough because he runs too much, there can be many reasons behind this. We have seen so many strikers that haven’t scored for a long time.

“At Napoli with [Edinson] Cavani for instance, when he faced a drought, I told him not to think about scoring and the problem was sorted shortly.

“Rodrigo must stay put and keep doing what he’s doing because when he will least expect it, he will score again.

“More than anything, the most important thing is that the team win though.”
