What’s still blocking Inter from signing Dybala

Paulo Dybala wants to join Inter and the Nerazzurri are desperate to secure his signature, so what do they need to do before they can finalise his deal?

Reports today detail how the current impasse is linked to an incident a month ago, when the Argentinian forward’s agent Jorge Antun stalled following the Nerazzurri’s €5m net per season contract offer. Dybala is happy with that offer now and has already been convinced by the project in Lombardy, yet pen hasn’t been put to paper yet.

La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that Dybala is now ready to sign for Inter but the arrival of Romelu Lukaku delayed things a little, forcing the Milanese club to resolve that transfer first. Additionally, the deal is still blocked by the lack of space up front.

In addition to Alexis Sanches, another forward must leave this summer, and veteran forward Edin Dzeko has made it clear that he’s not keen to depart in the coming months. Inter will now need to decide how to move on two forwards before they can finalise Dybala’s arrival.
