Federico Chiesa reacted to Dejan Kulusevski’s goal against Manchester City with a message on social media.
Kulusevski, a former Juventus winger, moved to North London on an initial loan deal until 2023 with an option to buy. He played with Chiesa for 18 months in Turin becoming a close friend of the Italy international.
Kulusevski scored his first Tottenham goal in Spurs’ 3-2 win over Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Saturday, triggering Chiesa’s reaction on social media.
The Italy international, who is currently recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, commented on Kulusevski’s latest Instagram post with heart and fire emojis. Piero Gollini and Andrea Pirlo’s son Nicolò also congratulated Kulusevski, commenting on another Instagram post where he had written: ‘God works in mysterious ways.’
Kulusevski had praised Pirlo upon his arrival in North London, highlighting how the former midfielder’s tips helped him develop during his first season in Turin.
