The entire first team have been training in the gym, but were missing Mario Gomez and Giuseppe Rossi, who have both been out long-term through injury.

The Italy international has been out since January with another cruciate injury, whilst the former Bayern Munich striker is suffering with a knee injury that has kept him out since the end of last month.

Radio Blu however, have claimed this afternoon that indications from both strikers are good, and that they will be able to return to work with the group soon.

The station insists that Coach Vincenzo Montella is confident that the pair will both be fit in time for the Coppa Italia final next month.
