Vigorito: ‘Worried Benevento’

Benevento President Oreste Vigorito admits the Streghe are 'worried' after their 4-2 defeat against Udinese.

Benevento have never been involved in the survival race this season but collected just two points in the last five games and are three points clear of 18th-placed Cagliari, but the Sardinians have a game in hand.

"You know very well that we have always had a great collaboration with the media. We know that through the press, we can talk to people and our fans," Vigorito told DAZN.

"I apologize, I apologize to everyone. But now it's time to curl up and try to figure out what's not working.

"They often tell us that we collect less than we deserve, but today we hoped for a very different result.

"I prefer to leave the coach and sports director in peace. Perhaps they will already begin to understand what are the measures to be taken.

"We have no intention of going into the field with resignation.

"There is a minimum of concern, I would lie if I said otherwise. I believe, however, that my collaborators will find a way out because there are still 15 points available."
