Reggina won the Calabria Derby against arch-rivals Crotone in Serie B today thanks to a quite extraordinary Adriano Montalto goal from his own half.
Serie B has provided some stunning goals so far this season, none more so than this effort that was aimed into the opposition net from inside the centre-circle.
It proved to be the decider, as the match ended 1-0 to Reggina with a shot that was clocked at 54 metres away – approximately 60 yards.
Meanwhile, Goran Pandev scored on his Parma debut this afternoon in Serie B as well.
