Marcos Antonio has landed at Fiumicino airport ahead of his medical with Lazio.
The Brazilian midfielder joins the Biancocelesti from Shakhtar Donetsk on a permanent €10m deal, including add-ons. He is the first summer signing for Maurizio Sarri’s side. The 22-year-old will sign a five-year contract at the Stadio Olimpico.
He arrived at Rome’s Fiumicino airport on Monday morning and according to Il Corriere dello Sport, he will undergo his medical tomorrow.
Marcos Antonio is a product of Clube Atlético Paranaense. He moved to Estoril Praia in October 2018 and signed with Shakhtar one year later.
The Brazilian centre midfielder scored nine goals in 101 appearances with the Ukrainian side.
