The Italy squad flew back from London late last night after the extra time win over Austria, again singing the 1990 World Cup theme tune.
The Azzurri booked their place at the Euro 2020 quarter-finals, where they will face either Belgium or Portugal.
It took until extra time to secure a 2-1 victory against Austria, with goals from Federico Chiesa and Matteo Pessina.
Played at Wembley Stadium in London, the team flew back to Italy overnight and arrived in the early hours of the morning.
Nonetheless, the mood on the plane was far from sleepy, as they all joined in a rousing rendition of the Italia ’90 theme song Un’Estate Italiana.
It is more commonly referred to by its refrain, ‘Notti Magiche’ (Magic Nights).
