Shocking scenes in Florence last night when a group of Fiorentina fans punched an Inter supporter right after Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s winner at the Stadio Franchi.
The incident happened in the home sector called ‘Maratona’, close to the away end of the Stadio Franchi.
A video that has gone viral on social media shows a boy wearing an Inter shirt getting punched by at least two Fiorentina supporters, with only a steward trying to separate them.
A man who does not appear in the video can be heard shouting: ‘throw him down.’
This is not the first incident involving Fiorentina fans during big games at the Stadio Franchi. This past August, a fan insulted and tried to hit Luciano Spalletti after a 0-0 draw against Napoli.
