Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini raged at a reporter on Sunday as he was unhappy with an article he had written: ‘You can’t ask questions.’
It happened after Atalanta’s 2-0 win over Cagliari on Sunday during Gasperini’s post-match press conference.
When a journalist tried to ask a question, Gasperini immediately stopped him.
“You can’t ask questions,” said the Atalanta coach, looking really annoyed.
“After the article you wrote about me, forget about it. How dare you come here? Send somebody else or write whatever you want. Don’t even come here.”
Gasperini raised his voice and continued: “You wrote a shameful article, shameful, so don’t ask questions and write whatever you want. You should be ashamed of what you have written. It’s too easy, how can you even come here?”
The journalist had written an article about Gasperini’s troublesome relationship with some ex-Atalanta footballers after Joakim Maehle had blamed the Italian coach for leaving “no freedom” to his players.
