Reports from Brazil suggest Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal has already signed a pre-contract with Flamengo.
The 35-year-old Chilean midfielder is still contracted to the Nerazzurri for another year and his high salary has prohibited the club from making some incoming transfer news. Many reports suggest that Paulo Dybala cannot arrive until a new home has been found for Vidal.
As reported by Brazilian media outlet Esporte, Vidal has signed a pre-contract with Flamengo and he’s expected to be announced by the club on Wednesday this week, when he’ll undergo the usual pre-transfer medicals.
Flamengo will only pay for Vidal’s salary and it’s expected to be a one-year deal, with no indications regarding a possible option for a second.
Since joining Inter in September 2020, Vidal made 70 appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing six assists. He won a Scudetto, a Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa Italiana with the club.
