Hellas Verona will be without defender Pawel Dawidowicz for the rest of the season, as he will have surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.
The incident occurred during the 4-3 comeback victory away to Venezia on Sunday afternoon.
A statement released by Verona this evening confirms tests showed the complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
Dawidowicz will go under the knife on Thursday at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome to reconstruct the ACL.
The 26-year-old has eight senior caps for Poland and only recently signed a new contract with Verona until June 2025.
