Franco Vazquez warns Sevilla “are here to attack” Juventus and looks forward to a reunion with Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.
The Champions League clash kicks off tomorrow at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT), a return to Turin for the ex-Palermo star.
“No, we wouldn’t be happy with a draw. We are here to attack, to play our game and spend most of the match in their half. Of course different situations happen during a match, but we are here looking for the victory,” he said in a Press conference.

“We’ve done well so far, though naturally there are many new players and the idea of football is different to what many of us had dealt with before, so it’ll take patience and hard work from everyone.
“The results are positive so far and we are certainly on the right track. It’s a fine challenge to come here and impose the style of football we are trying to develop. It’s wonderful to face off with Juventus, who are at a more advanced stage in their project, to see what we can do.”
This is a reunion with Vazquez’s old Palermo teammate and good friend Dybala.
“He, and indeed most of the Juve players considering they reinforced a great deal this summer, can make the difference. Paulo makes a big difference in the final third and we’ll need to keep a close eye on him.
“We proved against Real Madrid and Barcelona that we can do well. We played against the best teams in the world, even if Juve are just as strong in terms of squad depth.
“With regards to Gonzalo Higuain, he will be closely-marked, as he is in a great moment of form. Is he overweight? I think his goals over the last few games showed he’s doing just fine.
“Argentina is a country with many great players and they are spread all over the world. Higuain and Dybala are world class, known all over the globe. We will try to give our best and bring home points.”
