“He’s happy in Milan, but he has no deal with the outfit for next season,” agent Mino Raiola noted. “We’ll discuss the matter at the end of the campaign.
“If he becomes aware that he can’t give a positive contribution to the team then he will decide to leave, but Milan, for now, haven’t told us about their future plans.
“Van Bommel has always been calm about his situation,” the representative continued.
“If Milan want him to stay and he wants to remain then there will be no problems. Otherwise, he’ll go having had a beautiful 18 months at the club.”
The Dutchman was signed by Milan in January 2011 from Bayern Munich on a free transfer. He penned a one-year extension in May 2011.
The man linked with a return to former club PSV has made 31 appearances for the Diavolo this term, 22 of those coming in Serie A.
