Mark Van Bommel has admitted that he could leave Milan for PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old is in the last year of his contract at San Siro and there have been suggestions of a return to PSV.
“I’ve been contacted by PSV and there is mutual interest from both sides,” stated the central midfielder.
“There is a possibility that it may happen, but there is nothing 100 per cent certain at this point in time. PSV and Milan will decide.
“For now all that I am thinking about is doing well for the Rossoneri.”
Milan will only discuss contract extensions with players who are coming to the conclusion of their agreements at the end of the season.
Van Bommel, formerly of Barcelona and Bayern Munich, spent six years with PSV before his 2005 exit.
