Roma midfielder Willian Vainqueur says Luciano Spalletti “gave us the will to win”.
The Coach returned to the Olympic bench in January, after Rudi Garcia was sacked, with the Giallorossi currently on a nine-game unbeaten run in Serie A.
“What difference has be made?” Vainqueur considered on Roma Radio.
“He gave us the will to win and gives us a sense of each game, he gives us different guidelines for every game.

“What difference has be made?” Vainqueur considered on Roma Radio.
“He gave us the will to win and gives us a sense of each game, he gives us different guidelines for every game.
“We’re on a good run and had a good game against Inter, we didn’t lose points to them. Now my teammates are away on international duty, we’re waiting for them to return to continue the unbeaten run.”
Vainqueur was also asked about his arrival in Rome, and admits he struggled at first.
“When I arrived I hadn’t had a pre-season and had a bit of physical backlash in my first training session in that regard.
“The biggest difference in Italian football? Above all it’s the tactical rigour. That’s the biggest difference.”
