Udinese identify Nottingham Forest striker to replace new Everton signing Beto

According to Sky Sport Italia, Udinese have identified Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis to replace Beto who has just signed for Everton.

The Friulani need a new centre forward after sending Beto to Everton for more than €30m. The Portuguese striker had scored 22 goals in 65 appearances during a two-year spell at the Dacia Arena.

Sky Sport Italia’s transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Dennis has emerged as Udinese’s primary transfer target, but many other foreign clubs have also set their sights on the Nigeria international.

According to the report, Udinese have placed an opening bid to sign the 25-year-old.

The Pozzo family, owner of Udinese and Watford, already signed Dennis for The Hornets in 2021. The Nigeria international spent one season at the club, joining Forest in the summer of 2022 for circa €14m.

Dennis scored two goals in 19 Premier League appearances last season and his contract in Nottingham runs out in June 2026.
