Udinese admit they will sell

Udinese have admitted that they will be unable to keep hold of all their top players despite qualifying for the Champions League.

The Bianconeri ensured their place in next season's elite club competition last night, but they may struggle to keep the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Samir Handanovic and Gokhan Inler.

"A few players will be sold, that is for certain," sporting director Fabrizio Larini told Radio Kiss Kiss on Monday.

"There are a few players who have reached the end of their cycle here who want to join a top European club, sides who can offer them superior contracts to ours."

Sanchez has been paired with some of the biggest outfits on the continent, while Napoli seem very keen on Inler.

"I know that our President has been in contact with Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis," Larini continued.

"To find a better midfielder than Gokhan is hard because he unites the attack and the defence. He's also a great guy, an exemplary professional.

"There is no agreement for him yet though.

"In the next few days we at Udinese will all sit down to make our plans for the future."
