Mehmet Zeki Celik and Ola Solbakken have reportedly agreed personal terms with Roma, who will soon announce the signing of Nemanja Matic.
The Serbia international will join the Stadio Olimpico on a free transfer from Manchester United, but he is only the first summer signing for José Mourinho.
Sky Sport Italia reports that Lille defender Mehmet Zeki Celik has agreed personal terms with the Giallorossi, who have put on the table a €2m-a-year contract. Talks between the Serie A side and Lille are ongoing, but there is still a gap between offer and demand.
Lille want €9m to sell the Turkey international, while Roma have offered €6m. Club director Tiago Pinto hopes to finalise the deal for €7.7.5m.
Bodo/Glimt’s versatile winger Solbakken has also reached a principle of agreement with the Giallorossi.
His contract runs out in December and Roma hope to agree on the player’s transfer fee with his club, who do not want to see him leave on a free transfer at the end of the year.
Solbakken scored 17 goals across all competitions last season, including three against José Mourinho’s side in the Conference League.
