Roma captain Francesco Totti will reportedly not recover from injury in time to face Lazio in Sunday’s Rome derby.
The 39-year-old has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the end of September but there were hopes he would be back in time.
However, Il Messaggero reports today that the Giallorossi captain doesn’t want to force his recovery and will continue to train in the gym and swimming pool.
Totti’s objective is now to be back on the pitch for Roma’s Serie A match with Bologna on 21 November.
