Totti hasn’t decided on retirement

Francesco Totti said he will “enjoy the next two or three months and then decide” after sending Roma into the Coppa Italia semi-final.

His last-gasp penalty defeated Cesena 2-1 and booked a semi-final date with rivals Lazio.

“I thought it was an obvious foul for the penalty. Kevin Strootman anticipated the goalkeeper and was knocked down,” the 40-year-old captain told Rai Sport.

“Today the only thing that mattered was winning. It’s a derby in the semi-final, we’ll try to make a good impression.”

Has Totti made up his mind on whether he’ll retire at the end of the season or try to continue?

“This isn’t the time to talk about it. I’ll enjoy the next two or three months and then decide.”
