Tottenham and Barcelona ready to duel for Amrabat

Sofyan Amrabat was one of Morocco’s stars in their historic World Cup run and the Fiorentina man has captured the imaginations of Tottenham and Barcelona, reports suggest.

The 26-year-old midfielder played every available minute for the Atlas Lions at the tournament in Qatar, playing a vital role in their historic run to the semi-finals, which ended in a fourth-place finish.

Barcelona emerged with an unconvincing offer for Amrabat in the dying hours of the January transfer window, which failed to convince Fiorentina, but things are expected to heat up again in the summer.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Barcelona and a number of Premier League clubs including Tottenham are ready to come forward for Amrabat at the end of the season, keen to snap up the Fiorentina man.

Contracted to the Viola until June 2024, the 26-year-old Moroccan midfielder will likely command a lower price than his true market value in the summer, making him an accessible option for a number of interested clubs.
