Chievo goalkeeper Andrea Seculin has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during training.
The shot-stopper sustained the serious injury on Thursday and tests confirmed the extent of the damage today.
A statement from the Serie A side confirmed Seculin will go under the knife on Monday to reconstruct the ACL.
The 28-year-old had three appearances for Chievo this season between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
