According to French newspaper L’Equipe, the two clubs are already in advanced talks for the 21-year-old.
He only joined Rennes from Sochaux a year ago for €1m and would be available for under €2m.
The Granata are expected to push forward with a trip to France next week.
Prcic can play central midfield, in a trequartista role or on the right wing.
He has three senior Bosnia caps to his name.
