Torino are leading the race ahead of Milan and Salernitana to bring Rosario Central striker Alejo Veliz to Serie A, according to reports.
According to Tuttosport and reports from Argentina as well, the only formal offer to have been made is from Torino, but it was not considered sufficient at €6m plus up to €4m in performance-related bonuses.
Although Milan and Salernitana are interested, they do not seem to consider the centre-forward a priority at this moment.
The Argentine talent will turn 20 in September and has scored three goals in just nine games for the Seleccion at Under-20 level.
His contract with Rosario Central runs to December 2025 and he has been particularly impressive so far this season with 11 goals in 22 Superliga appearances.
