Torino chief Urbano Cairo has no desire to let go of Angelo Ogbonna or Alessio Cerci at the end of the campaign.
The defender is of interest to a number of top sides, while Cerci has impressed following his co-ownership switch from Fiorentina last summer.
“Ogbonna is an extraordinary player, one I have blind faith in,” Cairo told Tuttosport on Thursday. “It would be excellent for us to have him in our squad for one more season.
“Cerci? I spent more time with his agent than my own family last summer,” the Granata President continued. “I’ve been repaid for that with an excellent season from Alessio.
“It is still a bit too soon to say what will happen, but I have an excellent relationship with Fiorentina. I think we can do an intelligent deal with them to get even more value out of the player.”
It is being suggested that Toro want to renew their co-ownership of the new Italian international.
