Il Corriere dello Sport reports Tiago Pinto will likely leave Roma next month and that former Milan director Frederic Massara is among the candidates to replace the Portuguese in the capital.
Pinto’s Roma contract runs out in June 2024, but Il Corriere dello Sport claims club owners have decided against offering the Portuguese director a new deal. This means Pinto will likely leave the Olimpico after the end of the current transfer window.
The Rome-based paper claims Roma CEO Lina Souloukou has been on the lookout for Pinto’s replacement for a few months.
She worked with François Modesto at Olympiacos, but the former French footballer is now a Monza director and seems unlikely to leave the U-Power Stadium anytime soon.
Another potential candidate is former Milan director Massara, who has already worked at Roma in the past. Massara was Paolo Maldini’s closest collaborator at Milan and both left the Rossoneri last summer.
