Hakan Calhanoglu, Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku received the lowest grades from Italian sports papers while Rodri was the undisputed Man of The Match at the Ataturk Stadium.
Manchester City won their first Champions League in Turkey on Saturday night, beating Inter 1-0 thanks to a goal from the Spanish midfielder.
Italian sports papers wrote on Sunday that Calhanoglu, Lautaro and Lukaku were the most disappointing Inter players in the Turkish capital.

Only Lautaro received a passing grade (6/10) from Gazzetta dello Sport, while Lukaku and Calha were rated 5.
However, El Toro was the worst player on the pitch, according to Il Corriere dello Sport (page 9). He was rated 5, just like Lukaku, while Calhanoglu got 5.5. Lautaro was the worst Inter player also for Tuttosport’s Pagelle on page 4 (4.5), followed by Lukaku and Calha, both rated 5.
Italian sports papers had different views on other Inter players. Denzel Dumfries, for example, got 5 on Tuttosport, 5.5 on CorSport and 6 on Gazzetta. Alessandro Bastoni was rated 6.5 by Gazzetta, 7 by Tuttosport and 5.5 by CorSport.
Francesco Acerbi and Federico Dimarco received the higher ratings in the Inter squad.
As for Man City, all Italian papers agree that Rodri was the best player on the pitch in Istanbul and was rated 7.5 by all three.
