Tevez: ‘Juve lead not enough’

Carlos Tevez warned nine points “isn’t enough” for Juventus to break away from Roma, while he considers a gift to fans.

The striker spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of Monday night’s match against Sassuolo.

“I don’t think this is a difficult time for us, we just need to step up the tempo a little and finish games off earlier,” said the Apache.

The striker spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of Monday night’s match against Sassuolo.

“I don’t think this is a difficult time for us, we just need to step up the tempo a little and finish games off earlier,” said the Apache.

“No matter what some people say, nine points isn’t enough of an advantage over Roma to relax. We have to speed up and get the Scudetto under lock and key as soon as possible.”

Tevez has made no secret of his desire to join Boca Juniors in future, maybe even as early as next season, and this week gifted the supporters a huge flag.

“I would love to give one to the Juventus fans too, as the Stadium is missing a flag that big. I might have ‘Fino alla fine’ – all the way to the end – written on it too.”
