Adel Taarabt says Milan have no fear in facing Atletico Madrid tomorrow evening and he sees no reason why the Rossoneri cannot ‘dominate’.

The Champions League Last 16 sees the Italians head out to the Vicente Calderon tomorrow evening, chasing a first leg 1-0 deficit to Los Colchoneros.

“We should have won at San Siro, it could have been 2-0 but we were unlucky,” Taarabt has considered to Milan Channel on the test with the Spanish.

“On Tuesday we’ve got no fear about taking on Atletico Madrid. They’re a strong side, they’re top of the Spanish League, but the Champions League is a different competition.

“At San Siro we showed that we can dominate, I see no reason why we can’t do the same over there in Madrid.”

The playmaker also passed comment on Milan’s disappointing League defeat on Saturday evening away to Udinese.

“We’re obviously not happy with what happened, but at the same time we’ve got be 100 per cent focused on Tuesday’s match which is the most important one of the season.

“We lost, but we have to remain focused. I’ve noticed that it’s harder for us to play against teams that use a 3-5-2 formation, like against Torino.

“It’s an aspect in which we need to improve in because it seems that at times we don’t have an answer to this formation with a three-man defence.

“If we don’t score immediately we give too much away to our opponents and we give them the chance to build up confidence which puts us in difficulty.

“On Saturday we controlled the game in the first part. Had we scored in the first-half it would have been a different match.”
