Suso: ‘Ask Milan about release clause’

Milan winger Suso doesn’t want to discuss his release clause – “these questions are more for Leonardo and Paolo Maldini”.

The Spaniard has a clause in his contract, believed to be around €38m, which can be activated by foreign clubs in the first two weeks of July.

Given his form this season, with five goals and eight assists in all competitions, that could well be an attractive option for many clubs.

The Rossoneri are therefore keen to raise or remove the clause, but it appears the player himself is in no rush.

“It’s still early, we need to get to the transfer window,” Suso shrugged when asked about his clause by Sky.

“I’m happy here, I’ve always said that. These questions are more for Leonardo and Maldini.”
