Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani has warned Coach Giovanni Stroppa to improve results or face the sack.
The Delfini have stuttered so far this season, winning just two of their first 10 Serie A games, and the club's owner has issued a challenging statement to the 44-year-old tactician.
“I would not say that this is Stroppa's last call, but in football, when results do not come, Coaches are the first ones who have to pay,” he told reporters. “Against Parma [this Sunday] we have to put things right.
“I'm not sure about the Coach's position,” he said. “If I said otherwise I'd be lying. I'm a bit tense about our position in the League, but there is an awareness that we can turn this around.”
Pescara currently sit in 17th position in Serie A, and face Roberto Donadoni's side this weekend.
