“Let us not forget this is a head-to-head for position. Our current emergency situation must further motivate us to prove ourselves.”

Silvan Widmer sits out a ban, while Alexandre Geijo, Giampiero Pinzi, Guilherme, Molla Wague, Emmanuel Badu, Lucas Evangelista and Alexis Zapata are all unavailable.

However, star striker Antonio Di Natale does return after a bout of flu kept him out of the 1-1 draw with Sassuolo last week.

“He is in good shape and I know he can really help us out.”

There is also a boost with the return of Rodrigo Aguirre, who interrupted his season-long loan with Empoli six months early and was thrown straight into the squad.
