Spurs, West Ham on Gabbiadini?

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are reportedly interested in Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini.

The Italian international joined the Partenopei in January 2015, but has failed to hold down a regular place in Maurizio Sarri’s forward line.

The 24-year-old has made just one Serie A start so far this season, though he has managed three assists and two goals in his 17 appearances.

In addition, the former Sampdoria forward impressed in the Europa League, scoring four times in six appearances.

According to SportMediaset, both Spurs and the Hammers are keen to bring Gabbiadini to England this summer, and the Partenopei are likely to sell if the price is right.

Gabbiadini is primarily deployed on the right of a front-three, allowing him to cut inside onto his stronger left foot.

He is well known for scoring ‘Gol alla Del Piero’ efforts, cutting inside before bending the ball into the far top corner.
