Juventus continue their search for a new winger and the latest candidate is said to be Marcus Edwards of Sporting CP, but the €25m asking price could be a problem.
Several options have been evaluated over the last few weeks, including Karim Adeyemi and Jadon Sancho, but no deals have been done.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the new name on the wish list is Edwards, the 25-year-old Englishman who can play on the right, left or in a more central supporting role.
Edwards an option for Juventus
He is under contract with Sporting CP until June 2026 and joined the club for €7.75m from Vitoria Guimaraes in January 2022.
A product of the Tottenham Hotspur youth academy, there were also loan experiences at Norwich and Dutch side Excelsior.
Last season, Edwards scored six goals and provided nine assists in 44 competitive games for the Portuguese club.
A Bola report that while Juve are keeping an eye on the player, they have not made any formal proposals yet.
The same source also notes that the asking price would be no less than €25m, which might put him out of the range of the Bianconeri budget.
