Spezia defender Simone Bastoni has tested positive for COVID, the club have confirmed.
"Spezia Calcio announce the player Simone Bastoni has tested positive to the molecular nose-pharyngeal swab carried out yesterday,” the club’s official statement reads.
“Currently asymptomatic, the fullback has begun fiduciary isolation. The rest of the group, which will be available to Mister [Vincenzo] Italiano for the game against Hellas Verona, tested negative.”
The newly-promoted Serie A side have now three cases within their team.
