The former Inter man has been the source of much speculation in recent weeks, and is believed to be close to securing a return to Serie A with the Bianconeri.

It was reported today that Gala and Juve are now much closer to agreeing a transfer fee for the 30-year-old, and now Turkish media claim that the player has agreed personal terms, despite the Istanbul club saying he is not for sale.

According to Milliyet, the Dutch international has verbally agreed terms on a contract worth €4.5m per year.

The newspaper reports that Sneijder informed the Galatasaray hierarchy in the aftermath of Sunday’s 2-0 win over Besiktas that he wants to be allowed to move to Turin, with further talks scheduled for tomorrow.
