Sky: Hojlund on the verge of joining Man Utd as Red Devils ready to send written offer

Sky Sport Italia claims Manchester United are on the verge of signing Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund with an offer worth €70m plus €5m add-ons.

Hojlund is the Red Devils’ priority target in attack this summer. The 20-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League giants.

His agents are the same as Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag and according to the Italian broadcasters, the striker has already held talks with the Dutch tactician.

Transfer expert Luca Cilli said during Friday’s transfer show that the Red Devils are on the verge of securing Hojlund’s services with a written offer worth €70m plus €5m add-ons. The bid will be submitted in the coming hours.

PSG are also interested in Hojlund and have reportedly made an offer of €50m, but Atalanta aim for a higher fee, between €70m and €80m and the player is keen on moving to Old Trafford.

Atalanta are already preparing for life after Hojlund and are ready to announce El-Bilal Toure who underwent his medical with the club on Friday morning. The 21-year-old will become Atalanta’s most expensive signing ever, joining the club for circa €30m from Almeria.
