“We should’ve had a penalty, but unfortunately with this referee it’s always like this,” Silva said after the game, referring to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s dismissal when his side faced Chelsea in the Champions League knockout stages three years ago.
“I can’t be too mad at him because it’s a matter of interpretation, but with Kuipers something similar had already happened against Chelsea.
“Ibrahimovic didn’t deserve his red card but was still sent off. Now we’re back to talking about a serious error going against us.
“Unfortunately, the only thing we can do is forget everything and think about working.”
