Livorno's fifth consecutive defeat proved the final straw, as President Aldo Spinelli confirmed “Walter Novellino is our new Coach.”

“I can confirm we have sorted everything out already,” President Spinelli told TuttoMercatoWeb.
“On Monday Novellino will hold his first training session. It was all planned out.”
