The club fired Fabio Pecchia at the weekend after a 2-1 defeat to Crotone, leaving them with only seven points from 10 games.

A new boss has not yet been found, so today Gubbio announced Simoni would take over managerial duties for the time being.
The former Inter Coach will prepare the side for their next match against Serie B leaders Torino.
It is only a temporary measure, so Simoni will return to his job as technical director next week.
