Serie B side Ascoli have officially appointed 31-year-old Guillermo Abascal as their new coach after Roberto Stellone left by mutual consent.
Stellone had already effectively walked out in April, having only taken the job on February 2 and overseeing just five games before the lockdown.
Abascal has one game under his belt this season, taking on the caretaker role for the 3-0 victory over Livorno on February 1 after Paolo Zanetti was fired, before Stellone’s arrival.

The Serie B season is due to resume from June 20.
