Italy’s Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has reportedly signed a new decree suspending all sporting events and competitions until June 14.

The contact training has been postponed because of problems with the protocol and the date set for the resumption of the season from June 13 looks set to be postponed because of the new decree signed by the Prime Minister.

The new decree might force the FIGC to look for a new date, as SportMediaset highlights from the text: “Sporting events and competitions of all kinds and disciplines are suspended, in public or private places until June 14.”

Serie A might be given a waiver to resume play on June 13, but if not, the restart of the championship must be postponed.
