Real Madrid's Carlo Ancelotti hints ‘never say never’ to returning to Serie A, but says the Ultras need to be brought under control.
The former midfielder enjoyed spells on the bench at Parma, Juventus and most notably Milan, with whom he won the Scudetto and two Champions Leagues.
“Could I go back to Italy?” Ancelotti considered in an interview with Corriere dello Sport.
“Never say never, as no-one knows what the future holds, and I remain connected to teams like Roma and Milan.

“Never say never, as no-one knows what the future holds, and I remain connected to teams like Roma and Milan.
“That said, I’m not thinking about it now, I might continue this experience abroad and then retire.
Carletto then went on to discuss the fortunes of the aforementioned clubs, as well as rumours of a Rossoneri sale.
“It seems to me as though Roma have lost the enthusiasm they had with a new Coach [Rudi Garcia] last year.
“Then, of course, it’s difficult to manage a difficult period in a city like Rome, where the fans complain and lose the calm which would help to get out of a crisis quickly.
“In this sense both Rome and Naples are more complicated cities [to coach in].
“Is it like that in Madrid? We have to make a distinction, when they whistle in Madrid it’s related to the game and the team, it’s another thing to have violent protests involving big groups of fans inside and outside of the stadium, as happens in Italy.
“We should avoid these types of demonstrations and stay within the limits of civilisation.
“Milan? To win you need to plan, and to think of Milan winning with [President Silvio] Berlusconi is more complicated.
“Milan are a great club, with great history and they can get back to the highest levels, but it takes time.”
Finally, Ancelotti discussed the plight of another of his former clubs, Parma.
“I feel sadness, because I grew up in the Parma youth system,” Ancelotti sighed.
“I also coached there, and it seems incredible that a club like Parma has gotten to this stage, clearly something has gone wrong.
“Let’s hope this will be a lesson and it won’t happen to other clubs.”
